Margaret Glaspy | The new queen of prunge (=pop+grunge)

Margaret Glaspy

She sounds like a Scandinavian singer when actually she grew up in Boston.

Her music is a combination of folk, grunge and catchy pop hooks.

With a distinctive voice, relatable lyrics, Margaret Glaspy‘s debut album EMOTIONS AND MATH is the 2016 softer sequel to Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill.

She deals with her every day neuroses and anxieties, self-consciousness, long-distance relationships and calendar keeping. Because the songs are about every day tasks, anyone can relate to it.

Listening to Margaret’s beautiful voice and emotionally loaded lyrics is like therapy to me. There aren’t enough words to describe her, you’ll simply have to give her a listen.

Love, Nina x
