Do you ever wake up in the morning, open your eyes, look around your room and feel like you need a change.
Well, that’s me pretty much every other month. The amount of times I have redecorated my room in the last 12 months makes me look like an interior designer. Having moved quite a lot when I was a child/teenager, I am used to new surroundings and different layouts, therefore getting an ‘itch’ after a few months and need to change a few things. I don’t know about you guys but my home is my oasis, my job is super busy, the term work/life balance pretty much doesn’t exist in my vocabulary which means that the few moments I get to spend at home, I want my flat to feel like mine even though I rent my space.
Let’s talk Wall Murals
I tend to do a lot of DIY stuff as I like having unique décor. Whilst browsing the web the other day, I have come across these lovely wall murals. The collection is amazing and super colourful. The self-adhesive material makes the application easy enough. The wall murals can be peeled off and repositioned from any flat surface multiple times. That’s pretty handy as I might get bored having it in my bedroom, so will be able to easily move it around the flat.
According to Pixers’ website, you can even clean the wall murals with a dry microfiber cloth therefor keeping it dust free. Yes, I am a bit OCD when it comes to tidying.
As you can see, I like to keep it very minimalistic. I remember a time in my life when my apartment was full of photographs, posters and other knick- knacks. There comes a time in your life when you simply want to de-clutter but still having a beautiful home.
It’s all about minimalism
As you can see in the photos above, the wall murals give your rooms a nice charm, they are super versatile and you can even reposition them. I’ve opted for the first version and will give it a go in my bedroom first. Since the colour is quite light, I can also play around with it, maybe add some black and white pictures, who knows?!
How do you guys decorate on a budget? Have you tried wall murals before? Would really like to get all of your thoughts.
Love, Nina x
