February Favourites | What’s In My Make-Up Drawer

With March around the corner, I thought for today’s blog post I’d share my ‘February Favourites’ with you lovely lot.

Some are new purchases, others I’ve had for a while but only just properly started using this month.

1. Drops Of Youth – Night cream // The Body Shop

This bouncy sleeping mask is the perfect remedy for dry skin, especially during the cold months. The sleeping mask is enriched with Edelweiss stem cells and feels absolutely amazing on your skin. The texture is very bouncy and feels like a gel on your skin but without the effect of drying it out. You’ll wake up feeling refreshed in the morning.

Note: Make sure to put it on your face at least 30 minutes before you go to bed since it takes about half an hour to completely dry.

Coconut Water

2. Coconut Water – Weightless Hydration Oil // OGX from Boots

Since going blond, my hair has been mega dehydrated. I try to avoid washing it every day. I came across this little miracle serum at Boots. Not only does it smell like a coconut in a bottle, it hydrates my hair without making giving it that oily effect.

3. Fleur De Figuier Eau Fraiche Fragrance // Roger & Gallet from Marks & Spencer

Wowser, the smell… I can’t even describe it. It smells like a bouquet of flowers mixed with summer. Basically exactly what you NEED during these cold and dark months.

4. Mint Body Spray // Ted Baker

This little gem was a Christmas present from Anna (Don’t Cramp My Style). The size is perfect and easily fits in my bag. Although it is a body spray, the scent lingers for hours.

5. Instant Glow Shimmer Brick // Seventeen

This bad boy literally gives your skin an instant glow. I believe it comes in two different shades (rose/bronze). Since I use a contour kit, I opted for the rose and therefore lighter option.

6. Face Contour Kit // SLEEK

Say Hello to my little friend – how have I only found out about this bargain now??!!

The dark matte pressed powder gives Benefit’s Hoola bronzer a run for it’s money and the highlighter gives your cheek bones a radiant glow.

7. Beautiful Skin BB Cream // No 7

During the week I tend to wear a BB cream rather than a foundation. The only problem is that a lot of BB creams don’t really give you great coverage. Luckily I am very lucky with my skin and don’t need a lot of coverage. However, I simply love when my skin looks flawless, especially since it’s a lot easier to contour. This BB cream has a rather thick consistency and gives you great coverage… so in love with this, especially in combination with No7 vouchers :)

8. Soft Matte Lip Cream // NYX

They come in all different colours, my favourites are Stockholm and London.

Brownie points: They smell like a cappuccino… or maybe that’s just me… ha. Let me know what you guys think :)

9. Exaggerate Lip Liner // Rimmel London

These lip liners go perfectly with the above listed Lip Cream.

10. Stay Perfect Eye Shadow // No7

… and another No7 product. They last for hours … and hours … and hours…. On top of that they’re easy to apply and blend very smoothly.

11. Lasting Perfection Concealer // Collection

Okay. You have got to listen to me. If you’ve not tried this concealer before, you are so missing out girls. The coverage is unbelieeeeeevable – I might even say it’s a lot better than the Bobby Brown concealer.

That’s it for today.

Lots of love,

Nina x

I definitely need that night cream – my skin is a mess at the moment because I’ve not been sleeping well. Thanks love Bec xx

  4. Ah wow, I need to add that Body Shop mask to my beauty regime, I suffer so bad with dry skin it’s unbelievable. Fingers crossed this mask may do the trick, my dry skin is so stubborn!
And I like the sound of that No7 BB Cream – sometimes I hate putting a full face of foundation on as it can make me feel so uncomfortable. I might have to give this a try myself so my skin can breathe a bit better.
    Love this post! :)

What a great round up! I have the eye shadows from No7 as well and absolutely love them because they last so long, I’ve got quite a collection of colours now :)
